I worked on this piece for a fellow freelance client who wrote for a Christian Fellowship website. The goals of this piece were to focus on context and religion of The Democratic Republic of the Congo. The writer had minimal knowledge of Congo upon writing this piece and struggled in highlighting and introducing information.
Within the first wave of edits (pictured below), I helped her reorganize her information stylistically so she could understand how her article flows.
In the second wave of edits, I recommended she reorganize the opening paragraph to convey what the entire article is about. I also added/removed some words to improve overall readability.
Although this piece is published on a Christianity-based website, the views do not necessarily reflect Morgan Hunter’s spiritual beliefs.
